SHAWNEE, Okla. (March 27, 2021) –
Morgan Pelkie and
Jessica Flanagan combined to roll Oklahoma Christian's only 200 games on Saturday as the Eagles took sixth place in the Southwest Intercollegiate Bowling Circuit III tournament at Firelake Bowl.
OC posted a team score of 5,304 over four team games and 10 Baker games. Stephen F. Austin topped the eight-team field with a score of 6,172.
Pelkie, a sophomore from Sarnia, Ontario, was the only OC player to roll all four team games. She finished 20th among the 59 bowlers in the tournament with a score of 765, highlighted by a 213 in game two.
Flanagan, a freshman from Lavaca, Ark., started with games of 206 and 200 for the Eagles. Other bowlers for OC included

Abbey Parks (top game of 180),
Claire McDermott (top game of 195),
Athena Walker (top game of 179) and
Hannah Hayhurst (top game of 156).
The Eagles will compete Sunday in the SWIBC IV tournament, also at Firelake Bowl.
