OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 26, 2021) – Playing a pivotal role in Oklahoma Christian's run to a national championship earned OC Ultimate player
Elliott Moore recognition Sunday as the Eagle of the Week.
Moore, a junior from Austin, Texas, starred for the Eagles as they won the title in the USA Ultimate Division III College Championships, which ended on Monday in Norco, Calif. OC's club team earned the championship in their first appearance in the national event.
In the title match, a 15-12 win over third-seeded Middlebury (Vt.), Moore recorded six assists – many on long throws to
Kyle Henke – and one D for the Eagles. In OC's three knockout games, which included wins over Whitman (Wash.) in the quarterfinals and top-seeded Richmond in the semifinals, Moore had 17 assists (more than any other player in the tournament) and three goals.

Morgan Pelkie, women's bowling: Pelkie, a sophomore from Sarnia, Ontario, was OC's top finisher in the Collegiate Shoot-Out, which was held Monday and Tuesday in Las Vegas. Pelkie finished 21st in a field of 205 bowlers with a score of 1,184 over six games. She rolled three games of 200 or higher, with a top score of 244.

Josh Imhoff, men's bowling: Imhoff, a junior from Cabot, Ark., led OC in the Collegiate Shoot-Out, placing 28th individually in a field of 303 with a score of 1,255 over six games. Imhoff's high game was a 242.
The Eagle of the Week award recognizes the top performer in OC athletics for the previous week. The honor is presented each week at least one OC athletic team is in competition.
