OKLAHOMA CITY (Aug. 19, 2020) – Oklahoma Christian swimming coach Josh Davis has announced a handful of changes in the Eagles' schedule for the 2020-21 season, made due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

OC had been scheduled to swim in events at Henderson State (Ark.) and Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) in October and at Trinity (Texas) in November, but the Great American Conference (home to the Arkansas schools) and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (of which Trinity is a member) have suspended athletic events until January.

To replace those events, Davis said OC will host the inaugural Eagle Invitational, to be held at the Edmond YMCA Recreation and Aquatic Center at Mitch Park from Nov. 13-15.

The date of the Eagles' intrasquad meet at Mitch Park also has been changed. That meet now will be Oct. 17 at 2 p.m.

OC is scheduled to open its season Sept. 26 in the Sam Freas Invitational, which the Eagles will co-host with Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference rival Oklahoma Baptist in Edmond at the Mitch Park pool.
