OC's women were 13th after the first day of the ITC Sectional Qualifier in Dallas.
DALLAS (March 9, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian's first day at the Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectional Qualifier didn't go as hoped.

After 32 Baker games on Saturday at USA Bowl, the OC women were last among the 13 teams in the tournament that marks the first stage of collegiate bowling's postseason. OC was 11th after the first 16 Baker games, but dropped two spots after the next set of 16 games, ending the day with a total pinfall of 5,282.

The Eagles – a first-year club program – had four games of 200 or more, highlighted by back-to-back games of 207 and 210 in games six and seven. OC closed its day with a 200 game.

McKendree (Ill.) leads the team race with 6,524, followed by Alabama-Birmingham at 6,312, Wichita State at 6,202 and Newman (Kan.) at 5,998. The top four teams will advance to the Intercollegiate Team Championships, set for April 17-20 at Poelking Lanes South in Dayton, Ohio.
