OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 22, 2019) – A standout performance in a Tier I bowling tournament in Las Vegas earned Oklahoma Christian's
Taylore Ryan recognition Sunday as the Eagle of the Week.
Ryan, a sophomore from Allen, Texas, led the Eagles to a 12th-place finish in the Collegiate Shoot-Out, the second of two Tier I events in which OC played during the week.
During six individual games on the tournament's first day, she had games of 201 and 223 – and no score lower than 181 – to finish with a score of 1,179, in seventh place among 167 bowlers. It was the highest individual finish ever for an OC bowler in a Tier I event in the program's two-season history.
The Eagle of the Week award recognizes the top performer in OC athletics for the previous week. The honor is presented each week at least one OC athletic team is in competition.
