The Lady Eagles closed regular season play with a second place finish in the Sooner Athletic Conference race with a 60-56 victory over Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Feb. 26.

OC finishes with a 14-4 conference record and stands at 24-7 overall as preparations are made for the SAC Tournament in Shawnee, March 4.

All five starters finished in double figures with sophomore Katie Fariss leading the way with 14 points. Junior Lauren Decker scored 13, junior Carlissa Plowden had 11 and junior Tasha Turney and sophomore Rachel Martin each scored 10.

Although shooting only 35 percent from the field, the Lady Eagles converted 17 of 20 at the foul line for crucial second half points.
