Sophomore Lauren Decker has 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead Oklahoma Christian to a 65-56 win over conference rival Oklahoma Baptist University at home Jan. 15.
Decker's double-double was supported by freshman Katie Fariss' 14 points and senior Eden Wiens 13 point production. The win gives the Lady Eagles an 11-5 record overall and event their SAC record at 2-2.
Leading 42-40 with nearly seven minutes to play, Decker and Fariss connected on back to back three point field goals. Success at the foul line and a let three-pointer by Fariss provided OC with a comfortable margin in the final moments. Tasha Turney had eight points and five rebounds.
