No. 16 Oklahoma Christian lost a Sooner Athletic Conference game for just the second time this season on Thursday, falling 70-64 at Oklahoma Baptist.
OC dropped to 15-4 overall and 8-2 in conference play.
The Lady Eagles took a 10-0 lead to start the game, but the Lady Bison clawed back to cut OC's advantage to 32-30 at halftime.
The teams traded the lead several times in the second half, but OC fell behind for good with 4:00 to play.
Charlotte Heron's free throw with 3:00 left brought the Lady Eagles within one at 68-67, but Rachel Hines' three-pointer 43 seconds later put OBU back up by four.
OBU hit 9-of-12 free throws in the final 1:35 to to hang on.
Four Lady Eagles scored in double figures, led by the SAC's leading scorer Rachel Martin, who canned 16 points.
Fresh off being named the SAC's Player of the Week, Katie Farris recorded a double-double for the sixth time this season with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Freshman Kailan DeCamp had 13 while Heron added 11. OBU's Jennifer Jupin led all scorers with 17.
The loss ended a four-game winning streak and dropped the Lady Eagles out of a first-place tie with Lubbock Christian. OC is alone in second place in the SAC standings.
OC returns home for its next game on Saturday against Northwestern Oklahoma State. The women's game will tip at 6 p.m. with the men to follow at 8 p.m.
