Eagles forfeit series to No. 3 Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (April 23, 2011) – The Oklahoma Christian baseball team yielded their series finale with No. 3 Oklahoma City University on Saturday losing 10-1 at Dobson Field.

In the bottom of the sixth, Jordan Price reached base on a walk and three batters later was walked home on Bowker's at bat to leave the Eagles trailing still 9-1.

After a scoreless seventh, OCU sent one final runner home in the eighth before closing out the game with the 10-1 victory.

The loss leaves the Eagles at 23-16 overall and a 15-12 record in the conference. OC will begin their final series of the regular season against Southern Nazarene University (Okla.) on Thursday with a single game beginning at 7 p.m. at Dobson Field.
