KINGSVILLE, Texas - Oklahoma Christian closed game one of Sunday's doubleheader against Texas A&M-Kingsville with its 10th consecutive victory, 13-1, marking its longest win streak since 2022, but fell in game two, 12-8.
In game one, OC recorded a season-high 19 hits, with every player who saw a hit registering at least two base knocks. While the Eagle offense rattled off 13 runs,
Jill Dickson (10-2) tallied six strikeouts in six innings, allowing just one run on five hits.

Kiley Brewster (5-for-9) and
Kadence Brewster (5-for-9) led the effort at the plate for the day, while
Ally McDougal also saw a five-hit day, along with four RBI.
No. 13 Oklahoma Christian (20-4, 12-2 LSC), after spending four days in south Texas, will return to the Sooner State for a doubleheader against UT Permian Basin Friday, Mar. 13 starting at 2 p.m. before a date with No. 8 Angelo State Sunday, Mar. 15 at 12 and 2 p.m.Â
Game One: No. 13 Oklahoma Christian 13, Texas A&M-Kingsville 1
Oklahoma Christian managed just six of its game-total 19 hits through the first four innings, holding a slight 2-1 lead to that point. Meanwhile, Texas A&M-Kingsville got four of its five total hits in the first two innings, putting pressure on the No. 13 Eagles halfway through game one.
Beginning in the fifth frame, everything changed as OC out-hit TAMUK over the final three innings, 13-1. While Dickson pitched the final-six-innings shutout, the Eagles plated a pair of runs in each the fifth and sixth frames.
With one inning remaining and a 6-1 lead in hand, Oklahoma Christian saw one of its biggest innings of the season, plating seven runs on seven hits, two of which were doubles, for the 13-1 advantage before relief pitcher
McKenna Ingram issued a three-up, three-down in the home-half of the seventh.Â
Game Two: Texas A&M-Kingsville 12, No. 13 Oklahoma Christian 8
Oklahoma Christian's high-octane offense continued into game two, opening a 6-0 lead after just the third inning, but Kingsville used three home runs in the bottom of the fourth to snatch momentum and tie the score at 6-6.
Neither team broke free from the other until the bottom of the sixth, when Kingsville's offense saw its second big inning of game two, plating another six runs for a 12-6 lead. Oklahoma Christian threatened a bit of a rally in the top of the seventh, plating two runs with no outs, but TAMUKÂ held on for the 12-8 game-two win.
