EDMOND, Okla. - Despite a 17-point showing from both Kenzie Willis and Taylor Jackson, Oklahoma Christian fell to West Texas A&M 82-67 Saturday afternoon.Â
The maroon-and-gray created trouble for the Lady Buffs as they forced a total of 23 turnovers on the defensive end but the efficient shooting from WT was too much for the Lady Eagles as they shot 54 percent from the floor and 47 percent from behind the arc.Â
OC tied their season high in steals as a team as they totaled 17 against the No. 7 team in Division II.
Oklahoma Christian (9-12, 5-9 LSC) will travel to Denton, Texas as they take on No. 3 Texas Woman's next Thursday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m.
