EDMOND, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian scored 26 runs on 22 hits in Saturday's doubleheader as the Eagles swept Texas A&M International to take a two-games-to-one lead in the weekend series, 11-6 and 15-3.
Kaden Mitchell (2-0) picked up his second win of the season in game one while
Brett McComas (1-2) claimed his first victory on the mound in the night cap.
Ruben Castro went 5-for-6 on the day with seven RBI and five runs scored, while hitting a home run in both games. Castro now leads the Lone Star Conference with six homers on the season.
Oklahoma Christian (6-11, 6-11 LSC) will return to Dobson Baseball Field for the series finale Sunday, Mar. 1 at 1 p.m. as it goes for its first outright series victory of the season Â
Game One: Oklahoma Christian 11, Texas A&M International 6

Corbin Kwan on the mound, going the next two and two-thirds innings. Over that time, TAMIU managed just two runs on five hits while OC immediately logged a seven-piece in the bottom of the fifth.

Game Two: Oklahoma Christian 15, Texas A&M International 3
Following a lead-off walk to open the game, starting pitcher McComas retired the next eight Dustdevil batters while OC scored four runs in the team's first at-bat, including a two-run shot from Castro.
Jontae Hennesy added a pair of runs wth a two-out, two-RBI double in the bottom of the second for the 6-0 lead.
Following the third inning, which served as Oklahoma Christian's only scoreless frame, OC plated at least two runs in each inning the rest of the way, including five in the fourth, to take a 15-1 lead. After TAMIUÂ plated two final runs before the day ended, the maroon-and-gray completed the doubleheader sweep, 15-3.
