AUSTIN, Texas - In its first conference game of the 2025 campaign, Oklahoma Christian and goalkeeper
Breanna Wooten posted their second clean sheet of the year with a 2-0 victory over St. Edward's. Both goals Wednesday night came courtesy of sophomore
Caid Jefferson.
What Went Down
- Jefferson got the Eagles on the board in the 26' for OC's second shot-on-goal attempt of the game, with the first coming from Sophia Acuna.
- Sophia Placke nearly delivered an encore to Jefferson's goal less than 60 seconds later for the maroon-and-gray's third shot-on-goal of the first 27 minutes before play eventually went into halftime, 1-0.
- 11 minutes into second-half action, immediately following Wooten's fourth save of the match, Jefferson, became the second Eagle this season to score two goals in a single match.
