NORMAN, Okla. - Following the final round of stroke play at the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships, Leandro Mihaich and Oskari Nikku were named PING First Team All-Americans, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Wednesday, May 21.

Oklahoma Christian was one of two programs in the country with at least two First Team honorees, joining No. 1 Colorado Christian. Two GCAA First Team All-America selections is the most OC has garnered in the NCAA DII era.

Mihaich and Nikku are each receiving their second NCAA All-America nod of their careers, with this being the second First Team selection for Mihaich while Nikku landed on the Third Team in 2024.

The former sophomore transfer from NAIA-member Oklahoma City University and now two-time PING First-Team All-American recorded five top-five and nine top-10 finishes this season, including defending his Lone Star Conference Individual Championship title. The 2024 NCAA DII Jack Nicklaus award recipient and 2025 Jack Nicklaus award finalist is tabbed as the No. 9 golfer in DII via Scoreboard powered by Clippd.

Nikku is making his GCAA First Team All-America debut after leading the team with a 69.8 scoring average and claiming two tournament victories, including capturing the 2025 NCAA DII West/South Central Region title.

Nikku's first event win of the season earned him the Lone Star Conference Men's Golfer of the Week honor. At the Nassau Intercollegiate in a field consisting of 63 Division I golfers, the senior from Tuusula, Finland, paced them all with a tournament-record 54-hole score of 4-under 206. Accompanying the three-round record was the lowest single-round in tournament history (5-under 65).

Mihaich and Nikku will carry these All-America honors into Thursday, May 22's national quarterfinals where No. 7 Oklahoma Christian will face No. 1 Colorado Christian in a rematch of last year's national semifinals.
