Kadence Brewster were the only OC players with a hit and an RBI in the postseason contest.
The Eagles were out-hit by Lubbock, 12-3, while being struck with four errors which granted three of LCU's 11 runs. Neither team claimed a hit until the third inning when one hit for the Lady Chaparrals paired with a walk and a hit by pitch yielded a 3-0 lead.
Oklahoma Christian was able to claim its three runs in the next two innings to cut the Lady Chaparral lead to 5-3 after five innings. The next six runs, however, came for the designated visitors as OC returns to the Sooner State following the 11-3 loss.
The Eagles will now await selection to the NCAA Division II South Central Regional, with the field being announced Monday, May 5 at 9 a.m. CT. In the latest region rankings, OC was slotted fourth out of 10 teams.
