WEATHERFORD, Okla. -
Trey Migl came to the plate six times Tuesday afternoon. All six times, Migl recorded a hit, becoming the first Eagle to record six hits in one game in the NCAA DII era. Migl's six hits was one shy of the single-game Lone Star Conference record.
Despite the hitting clinic from the Piedmont, Okla. native, Oklahoma Christian fell to Southwestern Oklahoma State in a high-scoring affair, 14-13.
Migl's 6-for-6 day was comprised of three singles, two doubles and a home run for a slugging percentage of 1.833. Accompanying the historic day at the plate was three RBI and a stolen base.
Ryan Carolan (1-for-5) joined Migl with three RBI off one swing of the bat with a three-run home run in the second inning, while also scoring two runs and reaching base on a walk.
Tyler Wilcox saw the best outing of any Eagle pitchers, facing just 11 batters in three innings of work while allowing just two hits and tallying two strikeouts.
How it happened
	- The first seven OC batters reached base safely, despite Migl being the lone Eagle to claim a hit. After four walks and two hit-by-pitches, Oklahoma Christian held a 5-0 lead after one inning.
- Similar fortune was to be had in the second inning for the maroon-and-gray, but this time their six runs came off five hits compared to just three walks and a SWOSU fielding error, as two runs from the home team in the first had OC take an 11-2 lead after two frames.
- Two more runs from the Bulldogs met with a single run from Oklahoma Christian in the top of the third spelled a 12-4 lead for the visitors. Over the final six and a half innings, however, Southwestern Oklahoma St. outscored OC, 10-1, with the Eagles managing just three more hits the rest of the way.
