EDMOND, Okla. - No. 18 Oklahoma Christian led after two innings in game one and was tied with the Patriots after four innings in game two, but No. 1 UT Tyler prevailed in both instances, 12-2 and 8-0.

No. 18 Oklahoma Christian (21-13, 14-10 LSC) will head to south Texas this weekend to meet Texas A&M-Kingsville Friday, Mar. 28 and then Texas A&M International Sunday, Mar. 30.

Victoria Brazil, following a UTT fielding error, used a two-out RBI-triple to put OC on the board first, 1-0.
Tyler brought runners to the corner in the second, but Dickson was able to get her second strikeout of the game to end the threat before the Eagles used their second two-out RBI, this time from Yaerger, to move ahead, 2-0.
After getting hit in the mouth, the nation's No. 1 team responded with 12 unanswered runs over the next four innings. Oklahoma Christian saw just three more hits during that stretch as Tyler took the series opener, 12-2.

The Patriots broke through with a single run in the fifth before a seven-run sixth opened the 8-0 lead. The 13th, 14th and 15th Eagle batters were retired in order in the sixth inning to complete the doubleheader sweep, 8-0.Â
