Bradley Hits Career 1000-Point Milestone as Lady Eagles Fall to Javelinas at Home

EDMOND, Okla. - The Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles (6-14, LSC 3-13)  played their first game in the Nest since Jan. 18th as they hosted Texas A&M Kingsville (14-6, LSC 9-6). Another fourth-quarter comeback fell short for the Lady Eagles as Kingsville walked out of the Nest with a 57-52 road win.

First Quarter - Kingsville 12 - OC 11

In the game's first four minutes, the visiting Javelinas took advantage of the Lady Eagles' missed shots and went on a 7-2 run. After the first media timeout, the Lady Eagles turned the tide, knocking down a few shots from the field to eventually take the lead. The lead was taken when a senior guard knocked down two at the foul line to hit career points number 999 and 1000 and accomplish a significant career milestone.

Before the quarter ended, Kingsville took the one-point lead back from OC.

Second Quarter - Kingville 29 - OC 24

The two teams continued to battle before the half, with Veyda Lake scoring six in the quarter for the visiting Javelinas.

Keeping the Lady Eagles in the fight down just five at the half due to the combined efforts of Bradley and off the bench, Reagan Berry had eight points in the quarter.

Third Quarter - Kingsville 45 - OC 31

The Javelinas began the second half on a mission to separate themselves from the Lady Eagles, out-scoring the home team 16-7 in the third quarter.

Fourth Quarter - Kingsville 57 - OC 52

The Lady Eagles dominated the Javelin's in the final quarter with a big three from Kate Bradley and Trinity Dobbs, getting to within just two possessions, but would run out of time for the complete comeback.
