EDMOND, Okla.- Oklahoma Christian (10-15, LSC 7-14) finish out their home games of the 2024-25 season on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 22nd, playing host to Western New Mexico University (3-24, LSC 3-18). The two teams would battle to the end, with the Lady Eagles coming out with the victory.
First Quarter
As the sun broke through the clouds and began to melt away the snow outside, the Lady Eagles and the Mustangs began heating the Nest early in their late-season matchup, trading offensive runs in the opening quarter.
Senior Jordan Francisco made her presence known early, dominating the boards with four in the first ten minutes.
The Lady Eagles battled through some early shooting struggles to stay in the hunt, and just a possession off the lead entered the second quarter.
Second Quarter
The Lady Eagles, led by senior Nakia Cullom, held the Mustangs to just five points and a field goal percentage of 11.8% in the second quarter.
Cullom continues her outstanding stretch of play with a seven-point five rebounds in the second quarter to send the Lady Eagles into the locker room at halftime with a five-point lead over WNMU.
Third Quarter
While the Mustangs entered the second half with a new fire, the Lady Eagles continued to let their fire from the second quarter burn, this time behind the red-hot shooting from senior Kate Bradley, who dropped 12 points, shooting 4-5 from the field and 3-3 from the foul line to hold the slight lead entering the final quarter of play.
Fourth Quarter
The Lady Eagles entered the final quarter of play in the Nest of the 2024-25 season with just a one-point lead over the Mustangs.
With all-around solid shooting from the field and dominating on the boards, the Lady Eagles held off the final push from the Mustangs and claimed the 68-63 victory to close out the careers of five stellar seniors and the season home stand.

Kate Bradley - Propelled by a 12-point third quarter, Bradley closed out her career in the Nest with a career-high 22-point night. Bradley also battled in the paint, grabbing six boards and dishing out eight assists.

Nakia Cullom - On a tear in the last few games, the senior guard continued with 17 points and 10 rebound double-doubles.

Ewa Kielar - The grad transfer capped off an incredible career with a career-high 13 rebound game.
