EDMOND, Okla. -
Hunter Jones record six RBI on just two swings of the bat Saturday afternoon against No. 2 Angelo State, yet the Rams prevailed in game one from Dobson Baseball Field, 10-8.
Jones' six RBI are the most by OC player since 2023 as he and
Cason Gregory each tallied three hits in the effort.
Justin Spencer (2-for-4) joined Jones and Gregory with multiple hits.

- The Rams added four runs over the next two innings while OC managed one run on an Elijah Laus RBI-ground out to cut into ASU's lead, 7-4.
- Single runs from both sides maintained the three-run deficit for the maroon-and-gray into the ninth before Angelo St. extended its lead for the final time with back-to-back solo home runs in the top of the ninth.
- For the second time in the game, Jones came to the plate with two outs and two on before his second over-the-wall shot to cut the deficit to two, 10-8, before the third out came in the next at-bat.
