EDMOND, Okla. - For the second straight contest, Oklahoma Christian did not allow a single goal as the Eagles defeated Texas A&M International Wednesday night, 1-0.
What Went Down
- A defensive first half came and went as OC saw two shots while International claimed just one for a 0-0 halftime score.
- Less than two minutes into second half action, Jaycie Daggs converted on a penalty kick for the first lead of the game on either side.
- A pair of second-half saves from Breanna Wooten kept the lead intact as the Eagles captured their fourth conference win of the season.
Notes
- Wooten recorded her fifth shutout of the season, of which OC has won all five such contests, and her 14th career clean sheet.
- Daggs tallied her second goal of the season, both of which have served as game-winners.
