Eagles Leave Permian Basin with Scoreless Draw

ODESSA, Texas - Saturday afternoon the Eagles went up against the UT Permian Basin Falcons before finishing in a 0-0 tie.

What Went Down 

  • Despite both teams claiming shot attempts in the first half, Oklahoma Christian went into the locker room scoreless.

  • OC came into the second half wanting to turn the match around by beginning with five shots in five minutes, yet to no avail.

  • Even with the maroon-and-gray's 19 shots, the end resulted in a 0-0 draw.

Notes

  • With her ten saves today, Breanna Wooten now has 42 saves on the season, which is seventh in the Lone Star Conference.

  • Saturday was the Eagles' third consecutive shutout and sixth of the season.
