Women's Soccer Nets Four, Shuts Out Greyhounds

EDMOND, Okla - Oklahoma Christian dominated its game Saturday afternoon, delivering a 4-0 victory over the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.

What Went Down 

  • In the first two minutes of the game, Evie Munn sent a cross into the box that was put in the net by Caid Jefferson.

  • After beating ENMU's defender, Munn sent a ball into the box which Ruta Andrews took advantage of, scoring the second goal of the game in the 59'.

  • With the help of Jefferson, in the 73' minute, Zoe Ross put another one up for the Eagles, making the score 3-0.

  • With ten minutes left in the game, Keeley Bennett made a penalty kick in the middle left corner of the goal. 

Notes

  • Jefferson and Ross now lead the team in most goals for the season, both having four goals this year.

  • Bennett scored the first goal of her career in an Oklahoma Christian uniform.

  • The maroon-and-gray controlled the game with its 37 shots, 17 of those being on goal.
