PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - With the third and final round of the first tournament of the 2024 fall season for Oklahoma Christian canceled due to rain, the No. 4 Eagles leave the Sunshine State as Runners-Up at the NCAA National Preview with a 4-under 564.
Defending national champion and Bushnell/Golfweek No. 1 Colorado Christian took the top spot with a 7-under 561, followed by No. 25 Palm Beach Atlantic at 2-over 570, No. 8 Grand Valley State at 4-over 573 and No. 7 Florida Southern at 5-over 574.
Oklahoma Christian recorded three Top-20 finishers, led by
Leandro Mihaich at third with a 36-hole score of 5-under 137.
Oskari Nikku (T12) and
Exequiel Rodriguez (T16) completed the trio of OC finishers with an even-par 142 and 1-over 143, respectively.
Blas Ayesa and
Juan Repetto rounded out the OC five-bag, placing tied for 27th with a 4-over 146 and tied for 37th at 6-over 148, respectively.
No. 4 Oklahoma Christian will return home before heading for the Natural State for the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate hosted by NCAA Division I Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark., Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
