Women's Soccer Dominates Newman with 1-0 Victory

WICHITA, Kan. - Oklahoma Christian beat Newman University on the road Saturday afternoon, 1-0. The Eagles dominated the game and were able to score the eventual game-winning goal courtesy of Keeley Bennett off a corner kick.

What Went Down
    ● Keeley Bennet scored her first career goal in an Oklahoma Christian uniform in the 69th minute.
    ● Goalkeeper Eden Reece played her first game as an Eagle, claiming one incredible save while not conceding a goal.

Notes
    ● First road win for the Eagles (2-0-1). The Eagles have scored three goals so far while only conceding one.
    ● In addition to Bennett's goal, the University of Tulsa transfer had three shots on goal in Saturday's game.
    ● With today's shots on goal, Kyla Lovelace now has five shots on goal and she is the team's leading scorer with two goals.
