Nikku’s Impressive Individual Performance Helps Eagles to Second-Place Finish as a Team

Boulder City, NV - No. 9 Eagles battle in the desert in the final round in Las Vegas, fending off Colorado Christian to finish tied for second with conference foe Dallas Baptist.

Round 3 

The team overall worked hard to improve off yesterday's two rounds, shaving off eleven strokes to shoot a 275 as a team. 

Oskari Nikku shot the third-lowest round of the day with a 66 (-6) to finish tied for second individually, just one stroke outside of first. His round included six birdies and an eagle on the par 4 10th. 

Leandro Mihaich finished strong on the day in his third round, shooting a 70 (-2) to claim another top-10 finish. 

Exequiel Rodriguez had his best round of the tournament, shooting a 67 (-5) to climb the leaderboard to finish in the top 15. 

Vertti Perala and Joey Lewis finished the tournament with even-par rounds. 

Up Next 

The No. 9 Eagles will have a one-week break before hosting the Oak Tree Invitational on March 18th and 19th at Oak Tree Country Club.
