Eagles Bats Stay Hot, Javelinas Take Game One of the Series

Kingsville, Texas - Oklahoma Christian rolled into Kingsville for a matchup with the Javelinas, riding hot bats from their first series win of the season.
 
Game 1
OC outhit Texas A&M Kingsville 9-8 on the opening night of the series, with Ethan Box leading the going 4-4 at the plate.
 
Box picked up the Eagles lone RBI, scoring Hunter Jones in the top of the eighth on an RBI double. Jones reached base on a fielder's choice and had one of OC's nine hits earlier.
 
Justin Spencer stayed hot, going 2-4 in the game, and Antonio Sabala and Sloan Laird had the other hits for Oklahoma Christian.
 
Texas A&M Kingsville scored six runs throughout the night, leading to a 6-1 victory in game one.
