Tyler, Texas - Oklahoma Christian's offense exploded for its largest output of the opening weekend in an 8-5 win at No. 19 UT Tyler.

Jadan Boyce opened the scoring in the top of the second with a two-RBI double down the right-field line, and
Antonio Sabala kept the inning going with a two-RBI single up the middle to give the Eagles a 4-0 lead.

Hank Heiselbetz kept up his great opening weekend with an RBI double for his team-leading 4th RBI of the weekend. The double gave the Eagles a 5-0 lead as they headed into the bottom of the second.

The Patriots scored on a double play in the third inning and were held to that run until the fifth inning when they cut the lead down to one with a home run and a two-RBI double. And in the bottom of the sixth, Tyler tied the game on another solo shot.

OC's pitching settled back in, and in the top of the seventh,
Justin Spencer gave the Eagles the lead on an RBI single, and
Johnny Behm followed that up with a two-RBI single, giving Oklahoma Christian an 8-5 lead.

Andrew Alonzo picked up the win for the Eagles. and
Levi Betts earned his first save as an Eagle, closing it out with runners in scoring position.
