Traylor Notches Career High in Bounce Back Win in the Nest

Oklahoma City, Okla- The Eagles (10-11, LSC 7-8) hosted UT Tyler (3-17, LSC 2-12) in the Nest on Saturday to close their four-game homestand.
 
First Half
The first half was a shooting fest, as both teams were hitting shots at a high percentage.
The Eagles were led in the first half by Shane Perales, who had a hot shooting stretch, hitting two three-pointers and getting another basket on top of that.
 
Second Half
Nickolas Traylor went off for the Eagles as he scored a career-high, lifted the Eagles in the game, and shifted the momentum to the Eagles.
 
The Eagles took advantage of the Patriots, sending them to the line by shooting 16-19 from the line as a team.
 
The Eagles finished with three in double-figures as they took down UT Tyler by a margin of ten points.

  • Nickolas Traylor came off the bench and led all scorers, scoring a career-high 20 points. He also finished with 2 rebounds and 2 blocks.
  • Moun'Tae Edmundson went 9-9 from the foul line, finishing with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.
  • Quinton Johnson finished with 10 points, 6 rebounds, a steal and 2 blocks.
  • Hunter Staten scored 9 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Shane Perales and Javon Grant both came off the bench and gave the Eagles sparks at different times. Perales in the first half, scoring 8, and Grant in the second half scoring 9.

The Eagles will take a two-game road trip to Texas, as their first stop will be Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Thursday starting at 7:30 p.m. and then Texas A&M International on Saturday at 3 p.m.
