Portales, N.M. - Coming off the emotions of senior week, the Eagles trekked to New Mexico for the first of two matchups in the state, opening against Eastern New Mexico.

First Half
The Eagles started hot, taking a 22-12 lead before the under-eight media timeout. The fast start was led by the big men, as
Hunter Staten scored 4 quick points before exiting the game, and then
Jovan Savic added 11 to give the Eagles the lead.

After the initial lead, the Greyhounds caught fire and raced to score 37 points in the final eight and a half minutes of the first half to take a 49-34 lead into the break.

Second Half
Eastern New Mexico continued the momentum into the second half, stretching their lead to seal the win.

Moun'Tae Edmundson and
Miles Gibson each scored 10 points in the second half to lead the Eagles.

- Savic led all Eagles with 14 points and 3 rebounds.
