Eagles Post First Ever Win Against West Texas A&M, 3-1

CANYON, Texas - With play tied 1-1 at halftime, Oklahoma Christian obtained the lead in the second half before claiming the program's fist ever win over West Texas A&M University, 3-1.

What Went Down
  • After leading in the first half 1-0, West Texas A&M University tied the game with one minute left in the first half.
  • Once the second half started, Ruta Andrews connects on a penalty kick for the eventual game-winner in the 69'.
  • 10 minutes later, Kyla Lovelace put the match out of reach, assisting Evie Munn for OC's final goal of the night.

  • First conference win for OC (1-1-1)
  • First career goal for Evie Munn. The sophomore from Edmond, Okla. (Deer Creek HS) finished the contest with three shots on goal.
