INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Oklahoma Christian men's bowling traveled to Indanapolis, Ind. this weekend as they brought Varsity, JV1, and JV2 to bowl the Columbia 300 Western Shootout.
Day OneÂ
The first day of competition consisted of six team games for the Oklahoma Christian Eagles. After the completion of the six games, varsity finished the day in sixth with a pinfall total of 6,378, led by CJ Petrin who averaged 222 and Mateo Gordienko who averaged 216 on the day.Â
Day two, OC would bowl 16 baker games with a chance to climb up in the standings.Â
Oklahoma Christian's JV1 and JV2 teams also bowled respectable scores themselves with JV1 rolling a 5,926 and JV2 bowling a 5,705 putting them in fifth and 10th in the 18 team junior varsity field after the six team games with both teams having a chance to climb the standings on day two.Â
Day Two
After men's bowling finished the sixteen baker games, varsity finished in fourth place with a total of 9,763 in a tough field.Â
The Eagles JV1 and JV2 teams finished in fifth and ninth respectively with totals of 9,133 and 8,973 in the junior varsity.Â

Oklahoma Christian heads to Wichita, Kan. next weekend as they prepare for the Mid-States Championship hosted by Wichita State Oct. 19-20.
