ALPINE, Texas - Behind a 2024 OC conference match-best .303 attack percentage, Oklahoma Christian swept its inaugural meeting with Sul Ross State, 3-0.

Avery Cole backed up Jones with seven kills. 17 total Eagles saw playing time in the commanding victory as true freshman
Jordyn Zink recorded her first two collegiate kills.
Oklahoma Christian never trailed in the opening set. After the two sides split the first four points, OC opened a 5-2 lead and never looked back. After opening their biggest lead at 22-13, the Eagles claimed the first victory of the match, 25-18.
The second set was won by the same score, 25-18, despite SRSUÂ scoring the first point in both the second and third set. The third stanza proved to be OC's most dominant set of the afternoon, hitting .441 while holding the Lobos to just 14 points.
