Oklahoma City, Okla - The Eagles will travel to Texas this week to take on St. Edward's (5-9, LSC 2-5) and St. Mary's (2-12, LSC 2-6) in some critical conference matchups. 

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT OC 

• Coach Markeith Brown is in his second season as the Lady Eagles head coach. 

• The Eagles currently sit last in the East Division of the LSC. With the opportunity to jump over both teams, they play this week. 

• Leading the way for the Lady Eagles is senior guard Brooklin Bain. Bain is averaging 14 points per game and 7.5 rebounds. Bain has recorded four double-doubles in the nine games so far this season. Bain also sits 12th in conference scoring and 8th in rebounding.

• Senior guard Asiyha Smith is making a mark in her first season as an Eagle, averaging 11.3 points per game and 2.6 assists. Smith has had five games scoring in double digits. Smith sits at 12th in the LSC leaders in blocked shots with 11 total blocks.

• The Lady Eagles have also seen good production from redshirt sophomore Taylor Jackson, who, coming off the bench, has provided production on both ends of the court, including four games scoring at least 13 points and being a force on the boards.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ST. EDWARD'S 

• Head coach J.J. Riehl is in her 12th season with the Hilltoppers, with an overall record of 161-155. 

• The Hilltoppers are currently on a 4-game losing streak.

• The Hilltoppers are one game ahead of the Eagles in the East Division in the LSC.

• St. Edward's is led by freshman guard Janiah Perkins. Perkins is averaging 13.8 points, 3.1 assists per game, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. 

• Freshman Bailey Featherstone is also showing great production for the Hilltoppers, averaging 11.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. 

• The Hilltoppers find experience in Jayda Ruffus-Milner. The Pepperdine transfer is averaging 10.7 points, 1 assist, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.1 steals a game.

• St. Edward's swept the Eagles last year.

• St. Edward's took game one in a 46-57 defensive battle. 

  • The Hilltoppers were led by Morgan Gary, who finished with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double. Jayda Ruffus-Milner also scored 10 points in the victory.

  • Brooklin Bain finished with an 11-point, 12-rebound double-double.

  • Kate Bradley helped the Eagles with 10 points and 3 assists.

  • Nakia Cullom, Jordan Francisco, and Daijah Torns fought hard to be the difference on the boards, combining for 16 rebounds.

• Game two was the opposite of the first in a close offensive battle, the Hilltoppers came out on top, 80-76.

  • The Hilltoppers saw four players in double figures. Led by Jayda Milner, who scored 22. Lauren Catherman finished with 18, Ronnie Cantu dropped 18, and Morgan Gary rounded it out with 12.

  • The Eagles saw production from the bench, who accounted for 44 points. 

  • Jordan Francisco led the scoring for the Eagles with 18 points and added 6 rebounds. 

  • Nakia Cullom dropped 16 points on 6-12 shooting. 

  • Brooklin Bain finished the game with 13 points.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ST. MARY'S 

• Valerie Huizar is in her 2nd year as the Rattlers' head coach. In her first season, she led St. Mary's to double their win total from the previous season. 

• The Rattlers have a one-game advantage over the Eagles in the LSC East Division.

• The Rattlers are led by freshman forward Taylor Haggan. Haggan is averaging 14.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.

• St. Mary's is also finding production from senior guard Teanna Huggins, averaging 9.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.

Last year against St. Mary's 

• The Eagles swept the Rattles last year. 

• In game one, the Eagles took down the Rattlers in a 21-point victory. Winning the game, 71-50.

  • The Rattles were led by Gabby Elliott, scoring 16 on 7-13 shooting.

  • The Eagles had three players who finished in double figures.

  • Brooklin Bain finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. 

  • Jordan Francisco dropped 15 points and 7 rebounds.

  • Daijah Torns finished with 13 points.

  • Kate Bradley and Brooklyn Long finished with 8 points and combined to go 7-8 from the foul line.

• In game two, OC finished off a close win at St. Mary's, 55-60. 

  • The Rattlers were led by Gabby Elliott, who scored 18 points, going 10-10 from the foul line, and finished with 9 rebounds.

  • Teanna Huggins also dropped 11 for the Rattlers. 

  • The Eagles were led by a huge 20-point, 14-rebound double-double from Brooklin Bain.

  • Daijah Torns finished the game with 16 points and 4 rebounds.
