Women’s Soccer’s First-Half Team Hat Trick Leads to Third Straight Victory

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - A first-half team hat trick fueled Oklahoma Christian (4-0-1) to a 3-0 win over East Central (0-6), earning them their third straight victory.
 
WHAT WENT DOWN
  • Ruta Andrews opened the game with a goal in the 5th minute on an assist from Rani Mueller. The goal was Andrews' second, and the assist was Mueller's first.
  • In the 11th minute, Ruta set Kyla up for her second goal this season to take a 2-0 lead.
  • Twenty minutes later, Evie Munn picked up her first assist this season, finding Lovelace for her second goal of the game.
  • OC's defense was dominant, shutting down the Tigers' offense for the Eagles' fourth clean sheet of the year.
  • Ashlee Jackson made five saves in her return between the sticks to earn her second clean sheet.
