Gabe Dixon dispersed Cameron's runs in the series opener.
Cameron scored three runs in the third after an error put runners in scoring position, and a single scored two of the three runs on a single that followed the error.
An RBI double from
Jaren Hill cut into the lead, scoring
Grant Lake, who reached base by being hit by a pitch to lead off the inning.
A home run scored a 4th run for the Aggies, and a throwing error later put another runner in scoring position, and they scored on an RBI groundout, giving CU a 5-1 advantage.
The duo of Hill and Lake combined for another run for OC in the 5th after Lake reached on a walk, Hill brought him home on another RBI single. Lake was moved into scoring position by a
Michael DiFiore sacrifice bunt.
CU added another run in the 7th and went on to win the opening game of the series.
