Lawton, Okla. - No. 25 Oklahoma Christian softball closed out another Lone Star Conference series win with a 3-2 win at Cameron.

Kylie Janzen got her second start of the series, and Janzen got things started for the Eagles with an RBI single that scored
Kristen Whitehouse.

Jill Dickson got the start again, and while she allowed a few walks, Dickson and the defense worked around them through the first four innings. And to get out of the first inning,
Whitney Walde caught her 8th runner stealing of the season.

Dickson picked up a strikeout in the second inning and retired the side in order in the bottom of the third. Dickson carried a no-hitter into the 4th inning before an Aggie rally.

The Aggies rallied in the bottom of the fourth inning when the lead-off batter reached base on a fielding error, and the Aggies followed that up with their first hit of the day, a two-run home run. The home run gave Cameron a 2-1 lead as the game went into the fifth inning.

OC didn't let the lead last long, as
Brooklin Bain led off the 5th with a double, Whitehouse bunted her to 3rd, and Bain came home to tie the game on a Walde sacrifice fly RBI.

The Eagles worked around a two-out single in the bottom of the 5th and went right back to work on offense in the 6th.

Chloe Woodward worked a lead-off walk to start the 6th, and
Tristyn Hamilton moved Woodward over with a single. A
Marissa Powell pinch-hit groundout moved the runners to 2nd and 3rd, and Bain brought Woodward home to give OC a 3-2 lead on a sacrifice fly RBI.

In the bottom of the 6th, Dickson picked up two of her five strikeouts, and in the 7th, she worked around a lead-off double to secure her ninth win of the season.

Oklahoma Christian is now 11-4 in LSC play and is currently in 4th place in the Conference standings.
