Austin, Texas - Oklahoma Christian opened a series in Austin on Friday afternoon against the second-place team in the Lone Star Conference, the St. Edward's University Hilltoppers.
St. Edward's took the lead in the bottom of the first on a three-run home run to take a 3-0 lead.
Ethan Box responded in the top of the second with a home run of his own, this one a solo home run, which was his fourth of the season. The home run was Box's fourth of the season, good for third most on the team, and the RBI was his twelfth.
The Hilltoppers went on to score eleven more runs throughout the game, winning 14-1 in the 7th inning.
Hank Heiselbetz had OC's other hit, going 1-2 on the day and bringing his hit total to 15 on the season.
