Oklahoma City, Okla. - The Eagles returned to Dobson Field on Saturday afternoon looking to take an advantage in the series over No. 3 Angelo State, with a chance at a couple of wins in a doubleheader.

Game 1: No. 3 Angelo State 9, OC 2

Angelo State scored two runs in the top of the first on a two-run home run to right field.

The Eagles cut the lead in half in the bottom of the second inning on RBI groundout from
Grant Lake, which scored
Marcus Johnson who reached on a double.
Â
A two-out three run home run in the 5th gave the Rams a 5-1, and they scored one run in the 6th and three in the 7th to take a 9-1 lead.

Oklahoma Christian scored in the bottom of the 7th on an
Ethan Box solo shot, his third of the season.

Johnson went 2/3 at the plate to lead the OC offense.

Game 2: No. 3 Angelo State 15, OC 3

ASU scored five runs on six straight hits to take a 5-0 advantage in the top of the first of game two. And they added another run in the second inning on a sacrifice fly.

An RBI single in the 4th and a three-run 5th inning extended the lead to 10-0.

Three singles in the bottom of the 5th led to OC's first run of the game on a
Hank Heiselbetz RBI single, and
Marcus Johnson added another run for Oklahoma Christian with an RBI double.

ASU added 5 more runs in the 6th on a bases clearing double, and two-run home run.

OC scored its final run after an error and two walks loaded the bases, and
Connor Jackson picked up an RBI on a hit by pitch.
