OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian (3-7) took an early lead and held off the Bulldogs (1-7), who had a chance to win the game with a pair of free throws in the final second.

First Half
The Eagles and Bulldogs used the first twelve minutes to size each other up before the Eagles used the final stretch to create some separation between the teams.

Karlyn Kenner had seven early points to give OC the early momentum, and a team effort plus six late points from
Quinton Johnson II gave Oklahoma Christian a 37-31 halftime lead. Kenner also closed out the half with four points at the charity stripe.

Second Half
OC took its lead and stretched it over the early part of the second half, but the Bulldogs nipped their way back, cutting the lead down to two late in the half…

Bryce Kennedy was behind the Eagles' early run, causing havoc on the boards, drawing fouls, and drawing and-ones.

Down the stretch, Quinton Johnson and Moun'Tae helped the Eagles fend off the Bulldogs, with Moun'Tae hitting a three and a pair of free throws, and Quinton scored what would be the game-winning points with a pair of free throws.

The Bulldogs had a chance to take the lead with 1.5 seconds left but missed a pair of free throws and the Eagles took the game 65-64.
