Lady Eagles Blow by Panthers on Homecoming

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Lady Eagles played in front of their home crowd for the first time this season in an exhibition matchup with the Panthers of York University, in a game in which eleven Eagles scored.

First Quarter
The Eagles got off to a quick lead thanks to early buckets from graduate transfer Asiyha Smith, who scored six of OC's fifteen first-quarter points. The Panthers kept it close, though, using a press early to create a few extra opportunities, but the Eagles took a 15-10 lead into the second quarter.

Second Quarter
Oklahoma Christian adjusted to York's press and dominated the second quarter to the tune of 34 points, including a 14-0 run with a havoc-causing press of their own. Eight Eagles scored in the quarter, and five scored five or more points, led by Taylor Jackson, who was making her debut in the Nest.

Third Quarter
Brooklin Bain added six points to her total in the third quarter to lead all Eagles and extended the OC lead to 66-36 as they headed into the final quarter. Kate Bradley added a three in the third to go along with two assists and two steals to keep the momentum going.

Trinity Dobbs led the Eagles in a 21-point fourth quarter with two threes, as the Eagles outscored the Panthers 21-7 to take the exhibition matchup 87-43.
