Hot Shooting Leads Chaps Over Eagles in Lone Star Conference Opener

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Oklahoma Christian Men's Basketball team (2-4, 0-1) opened up conference play against the Lubbock Christian Chaps (5-3, 1-0) on Thursday night in the Nest.

First Half
After taking the lead early with a hot start from the starting five, the Eagles struggled to maintain the lead as the Chaps lit it up from three. OC then trailed for much of the half, but was able to cut it down to 8 going into the break on back-to-back-to-back threes.

Second Half
The Eagles' bench put together a strong second half, outscoring the LCU bench 20-6, but the Chaps first unit continued to score at will, shooting at a 55.6% clip.
