OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian (12-12, LSC 4-7) broke a four game skid and beat St. Mary's (10-13, LSC 5-7) in a home match that went to four sets.
SET ONE
Set one started off going back and forth tied 5-5, Eagles then went on a 14-5 run to take the lead and kept the momentum to win the set 25-16. Leading the way for the Eagles, Giorgia Turri had six kills in the first set. OC had six different Eagles record at least one kill in the first set, a total team effort to take set one.
SET TWO
In set two the Rattlers jumped out to the early lead, at one point holding a seven point advantage over the Eagles. The Eagles would come back lead by a six serve stretch from Sophie Mae Smith to bring it within two, and the Eagles fought back to take set two 25-23.
SET THREE
Set three was a back and forth battle that went into extra points. Megan Rek makes her presence known in the set with four kills all coming off assists from Rainey Aven. The Rattlers grabbed set three in a 27-25 win.
SET FOUR
In set four the Eagles jumped out to the early lead. As the Rattlers tried to climb their way back into the game Annie Davis found her power and led the Eagles to finish off the victory with seven set four kills.

Giorgia Turri had a stellar performance with 19 kills, another 3 serving ace game and added 10 digs to her stat line. This now puts her in 8th place in the conference for kills with 218, 4th in points with 271, and 1st in service aces with 39.

Annie Davis added to her season kill total with 14 kills tonight. This puts her 14th in the conference with 236. Annie also added 3 blocks to her name tonight.

Megan Rek showed her stuff tonight with 7 kills and 6 blocks. Rek sits 5th in the conference in blocks with 102 blocks with an average of 1.15 blocks a set.

Camryn McGough continues to play well contributing 4 blocks to the team tonight. McGough now sits 8th in the conference in blocks with a 1.05 blocks per set and is 4th in the conference in hitting percentage with a .353.

The Eagles will host St. Edward's tomorrow, Saturday 28th beginning at 2 p.m. as they close out their weekend at home and continue to try and make the push to the top-eight teams in the conference and a spot in the conference tournament. The Eagles currently sit three games back of the eighth spot in the conference.
