TYLER, Texas - Oklahoma Christian (11-12, LSC 3-7) traveled down to take on University of Texas at Tyler (13-9, LSC 7-4). The two teams came into the match looking to solidify their chances of making it to the conference tournament.
SET ONEÂ
In a back and forth battle of a first set the Eagles came away with victory. Led by three serving aces from Giorgia Turri, the Eagles played a great all around team effort to put away the set one win. The Eagles would take the set 25-20.
SET TWOÂ
The Patriot took set two by taking advantage of some mistakes made by the Eagles. Winning the set by a score of 25-16.
SET THREEÂ
The Eagles jumped out to the early lead in the third set but with a momentum shift the Patriots came back to take the lead. UT Tyler would take set three with a 25-18 win.
SET FOURÂ
The fourth set was a long and hard fought battle between the two teams. The Patriots came away with the set victory 25-19, and taking the match 3-1.
