Another Eagle Classic, another 3-1 weekend

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian finished the second and final weekend of the Eagle Classic with a record of 3-1 on the weekend. The Eagles (6-2), who swept their matches on Friday, split their matches on Saturday against Southern Nazarene (3-5) and Central Oklahoma (8-0).

Matchup one, against Southern Nazarene, was a thriller. OC played one of their best sets of the season in the 1st set. They fired on all cylinders and won set one, 25-19. But the Eagles rallied and won a battle in an epic 4th set 26-24. The 4th set never saw a lead greater than three (SNU 9-6) and had six lead changes. OC rode the momentum swing of the 4th set into a 5th set win, 15-11, and a 3-2 win over SNU.

Sydney Collins filled the box score against the Crimson Storm with 16 kills, 20 digs, and 4 blocks.

In matchup two, Central Oklahoma Jumped out to a two-set lead before seeing OC take the 3rd, 25-23. The Eagles battled in the 4th set but fell 25-23, and UCO took the match.
