Austin, Texas - The Eagles (6-3) traveled down to Austin for a Lone Star Conference crossover tournament to take on Eastern New Mexico, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and St. Edward's.
 
Their first match of the crossover was today against East New Mexico (7-3), and after dominating the first set 25-14, they fell in four sets.
 
Sophie Mae Smith and Olivia Hessman each had double-doubles, Sydney Collins led the team in kills with 9, Morgan Demuth led the team in points and blocks with 10 and 4, and Brylie Berryman led the team in digs with 18.
 
They'll take Texas A&M-Kingsville tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. on day two of the tournament.
