Oklahoma City, Okla. - The Eagles (10-5) swept the Tigers in their first home match in 20 days in a non-conference matchup against East Central (7-11).
OC and ECU went back and forth in set one until the Eagles pulled away late in the first set to win, 25-20. Wendy Cobbah led the Eagles in the first set with five kills on a .625 hitting percentage.
The Eagles jumped out to an 8-2 lead in set two, and they didn't look back, winning the set, 25-21. Peighton Serda fueled a run of three-straight points in the middle of the second set to keep the Tigers at bay.
In set three, the Tigers held their first lead since they last led 9-8 in the first set. But OC quickly rallied back from the 11-6 deficit with an 8-0 run that featured four aces from freshman Annie Davis.
