Fort Smith, Ark. - Oklahoma Christian (9-5, 2-1 LSC) traveled to Arkansas-Fort Smith (8-6, 2-1 LSC) for a mid-week Conference match and is coming back with a road win.
The Eagles fell in the first set, 25-22, in a set in which neither team led by more than three points. In the second set, OC went on a 9-0 run to win it, 25-20, and tie the match at 1 set each. But the third set was all Lions to take a 2-1 match lead.
The 2-1 match lead was erased in the fourth set. The Eagles' middle-hitters had 8 kills in the set to set the tone and tie the match. The momentum from the fourth set carried over to the fifth, and the Eagles took a 6-1 lead early and never looked back, winning the set 15-8.

"Impressive win versus a strong UAFS team at their place." coach Skoch said after the match. "We started the match poorly, but we were able to rebound. I am happy for the players."
