Fridays are for sweeps

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Another Friday, another sweep for Oklahoma Christian volleyball in the Nest. This week the Eagles (5-1) took down Southeastern Oklahoma State (1-5) and Emporia State (1-5) in straight sets.
 
In the match against Southeastern, the Eagles were led by reigning Lone Star Conference Volleyball Defensive Play of the Week, Morgan Demuth, with nine kills on .438 hitting, and she added 6 blocks.
 
In OC's game against Emporia state, they were led on the attack by senior Hannah Rouse, with 9 kills, and freshman Peighton Serda with 8. Olivia Hessman chimed into the match with 21 assists and 9 digs.
 
Oklahoma Christian's dominance at the net as a team continued today as well. The Eagles entered today's match in top-5 nationally in blocks per set and added to their team total with 20 blocks today.
 
Individually, Demuth is top-5 in the nation in total blocks and blocks per set, and she added 10 more blocks to her total (34) today.
 
The Eagles are back at it tomorrow for matchups with Southern Nazarene (3-3) and Central Oklahoma (7-0) at 12:30 and 7 P.M. in the Eagles' Nest.
