Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Women's soccer (1-1) continued its great start to the season with a 3-1 win over Southern Nazarene (1-2) at Eagles Soccer Field.

The Eagles came firing out of the gates and took a 1-0 lead in the 3rd minute on a goal from Elise Foreman! The ball was crossed in on a corner from Ceresola, Foreman took a shot that was blocked, but the ball came right back to her, and she put the rebound into the back of the net.

Southern Nazarene (SNU) came back to tie the game in the 27th minute, on a shot that
Gabby Goddard deflected, but it bounced off the post, into Goddard's back, and into the goal. Foreman responded with a goal seven minutes later. This time she was assisted by
Bailey Cox who had just checked into the game and delivered a great ball for the assist.

The Eagles would go on to extend their lead in the 64th minute, with a goal from freshman
Raquel Fanelli. Fanelli's first goal as an Eagle, came after she ripped a shot from 20-yards out that hit the crossbar, ricocheted right back to her, and she buried her second shot into the right side of the net, blowing it by the keeper.
